Personal Story: Our Unforgettable Week at Topas Ecolodge in Sapa

My partner and I recently visited Sapa and stayed a week at the Topas Ecolodge. We traveled there via a private hire car from Ninh Binh to Sapa. It was a crazy long ride, but the scenery going up the mountains at the end of the trip was well worth it. For more details about our Ninh Binh journey, check out our Ninh Binh Itinerary.

The food at Topas Ecolodge was amazing, with impeccable service. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at their two different restaurants, each offering unique dining experiences. Check their website for more details on their dining options.

We stayed in the suite bungalow, which was spacious and offered one of the most breathtaking views of our lives, especially in the morning. The room’s amenities were exceptional, including a variety of teas and excellent coffee with a French press, perfect for enjoying on the terrace in the morning.

During our stay, we did a few hikes in the valley with a private guide. The guide was wonderful and knowledgeable, making the hikes enjoyable and informative. We visited a local village where we explored an antiques shop full of historical items available for purchase. Additionally, we visited a local resident’s home, where they demonstrated traditional paper-making techniques.

To top off each day, we indulged in the lodge’s amazing massages, trying all the different types offered. The spa at Topas Ecolodge was fantastic, offering rejuvenating treatments throughout the day. After trekking around the mountains, the spa made us feel fully refreshed and ready for more adventures.

Our week at Topas Ecolodge in Sapa was truly unforgettable, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the beauty and culture of Sapa in comfort and style.
